Ho-Hum, There Was A Perfect Game in College Baseball Yesterday!

The other day I wrote about how college baseball doesn’t get near the attention it deserves. Well right on fucking cue, we had a perfect game yesterday and there was not one mention of it on ESPN this morning. I watched SportsCenter for three hours this morning waiting to see a highlight of any kind, but they didn’t show a goddamn thing!

Never in my life did I think I would be advocating for anything Duke, but here we are! I need to be the voice of the people because college baseball is the only meaningful baseball going on right now.

Here is every single out from Jarvis’s perfect game.

Bryce Jarvis, a junior at Duke, threw the first perfect game in the history of Duke baseball yesterday. The Blue Devils beat Cornell behind Jarvis’s 15 strikeouts. Jarvis improved his record to 1-1 and lowered his ERA to an extremely impressive 0.69. (NICEEEE)

The Dukies have won 5 in a row after a season opening loss to Army with Jarvis’s perfect game bringing their record to 5-1.
