Unfiltered Week 6 Heisman Rankings

I know I’m slacking this week and these are up a little late than normal, but they are up nonetheless! The same old suspects fucking lit it up again this weekend. Joe, Jalen, and JT23 all went fucking bananas as the 3 combined for a total of 15 TDs in Week 6. Match-ups are getting tougher every single week and we may see some separation here soon, but that has not happened yet! There was some shuffling around this week, but there will be plenty more shuffling throughout the rest of the season.

1-Jalen Hurts-82/109 Passing, 1,523 Yards, 14 TDs, 2 Ints, 499 Rushing Yards, 7 TDs-It looked like Jalen might have a disappointing game for a minute there. They couldn’t score against Kansas and it looked ugly at first. Well obviously, he got it together and put up 4 total TDs on his way to another blowout win. That ups his total to 21 TDs on the year. He leads the nation in Yards per Attempt, and passer efficiency and it’s not even close in either category. He is leading the most efficient offense in the country and he is your Heisman frontrunner!

2-Tua Tagovailoa-113/148 Passing, 1,718 Yards, 23 TDs, 0 Ints, 2 Rushing TDs-Tua did not lose much ground while on a bye this week. He needs to keep this crazy pace though because he does not have as many marquee match-ups as some of the other guys like Burrow or Hurts. That may hurt him if those guys put up huge numbers in a lot of the big games they play in. If Tua stays at this pace though, regardless of who Bama plays, he will be just fine and he will most likely get a free trip to NY.

3-Joe Burrow-127/162 Passing, 1,864 Passing Yards, 22 TDs, 3 Ints, 2 Rushing TDs-You could put this top 3 in any order and I really would not give a fuck! They have all been so unbelievable and it just a shit load of fun watching them every single week. Joe has some big games coming up starting this week and if he can put up big numbers in these big games he will probably leapfrog both of the guys in front of him at some point. Joe, Jalen, and Tua are the only 3 QBs with a passer effiency above 200 according to ESPN’s model so it makes sense that they are the top 3 here as well.

4-Jonathan Taylor-103 Rushes, 745 Yards, 12 TDs, 12 Receptions, 114 Yards, 4 TDs-JT23 went fucking crazy this weekend! He had 5 TDs 40 seconds into the 3rd fucking quarter! The guy is unreal and he may benefit the most from the tough matchups the top QBs will play this year. Honestly though, what’s hurting Taylor the most is coming out of games in the 3rd quarter because they are blowouts! Taylor missed a possible 5 drives because Wisconsin blew the fucking doors of Kent State. He will also have his chances to prove himself and move up with some big games coming up.

5-Justin Fields-98/141 Passing, 1,298 Yards, 18 TDs, 1 Int, 283 Rushing Yards, 8 TDs-Nobody in the entire country has more total TDs than Justin Fields. He is in the top 10 in rushing and passing TDs which is fucking ridiculous considering this is his first full year playing. He also showed he could do it against solid defenses as they blew out Michigan State this week. Fields definitely has the ability to stay in this race, but the Big 10 is full of tough defenses so we will see how it plays out.

Honorable Mentions

New faces almost every single week are popping into these rankings! These guys are showing the fuck out and making this race exciting as fuck!
