Grossman’s Gambling Guide-CFB Week 3

We had a so-so week last week and we are definitely looking to get back on track this week. There are a couple of good games, but no featured matchups with ranked teams so that makes for a little bit of a boring slate. A boring slate though, does not mean you can’t win money! Exactly the opposite my friend! A boring week of games will not have you focused on the biggest game of the week. Now you can take your time and pick the easiest games of the weekend to make that fucking money!

Overall ATS 11-4

Overall O/U 6-3

Alabama -26 @ South Carolina

We all know what Alabama has. They have Saban, they have Tua, and they have been the most dominant team in the nation for the last 10 years. They are extremely talented and deep at almost every single position and they are a favorite to again reach the College Football Playoff. South Carolina on the other hand got upset in week 1 by UNC. Call me crazy, but this South Carolina team looks like a whole new team under freshman QB Ryan Hilinski. He has some real talent and it will be on full display on Saturday. 26 points is a huge fucking spread to cover on the road in a conference game. GAMECOCKS!

Pick: South Carolina +26

Air Force @ Colorado -4

Air Force, like the other military academies, is going to try and run the shit out the ball. Their goal is to run the ball as much as possible and limit their opponent’s possessions. That was evident by the fact that they only threw the ball once in their season opener and it was their backup QB who made the throw. Colorado just has too many weapons and they are playing at home. Coming off a huge win over rival Nebraska, Colorado follows it up with another big home win over a solid Air Force team.

Pick: Colorado -4

Stanford @ UCF -9

Stanford has not looked great this season and UCF has looked great, again. Stanford has had some real shitty luck with Costello getting hurt and missing some of week 1 and all of last week, but they did not look great against Northwestern with Costello either. UCF on the other hand straight fuckin dominates teams! They are playing a Pac-12 team that was supposed to be ranked at home and they will be looking to make a statement!

Pick: UCF -4

Clemson -28 @ Syracuse

Clemson is the consensus best team in the country, but they have not looked like it at times. They struggled at times on offense again last week against Texas A&M. Syracuse is not as bad as the loss they suffered last week against Maryland. QB play from Devito is solid and they always, let me repeat ALWAYS, play Clemson tough. They beat them at home 2 years ago and came as close as you can to beating Clemson in Death Valley last year. Gimme the fucking points!

Pick: Syracuse +28

Florida St. @ Virginia -8

Florida St. has looked like an FCS team so far this year. They have been a complete fucking joke this year and Willie Taggert is coaching for his job and they need a win soon! Virginia looks like the second best team in the ACC and they look like they can give Clemson a run for their money. They have been great on offense and defense.

Pick: Virginia -8

Washington St. @ Houston O/U 74

The winner of this game may be in the 60s. We all know Mike Leach teams score a shit ton of points. He is not known for his defensive tactics to say the least. It looks like Houston has not been that big of a fan of playing defense this year either.

Pick: Over 74

Air Force @ Colorado O/U 58.5

Air Force is going to try and slow the game down as much as possible. They will run the ball as much as they can and then try to stop Colorado on their limited possessions. This game will be slowed down just enough.

Pick: Under 58.5

Pittsburgh @ Penn St. O/U 53.5

Penn St. has put up 79 points and 45 points in their first two games. That is no accident, and although Pitt has a solid defense, Penn St. may cover this by themselves.

Over 53.5
