What a slate of college games we have to kick off week 1 of the college football season. 4 ranked teams in action and 16 games total! 16! FUCKING! GAMES! As a sports fan you could not ask for a better Thursday night. Some of you poor slobs have to go to work tomorrow, but some of you out there are starting a 4 day weekend and there is literally not a better way to start it than with your choice of 16 games to watch!
You can start your night off with Florida A&M at #17 UCF on CBS Sports! UCF just name Notre Dame transfer Brandon Wimbush as their starter and look to continue their regular season domination of the last 3 years.
The #1 team in the nation kicks off their season tonight with a home game against Georgia Tech. This might be the most anticipated season ever for a college QB as Trevor Lawrence looks to stretch Clemson’s win streak to 14 games.
#12 Texas A&M kicks off their season tonight as well with what should be a blowout against Texas State. Jimbo Fisher is lookong to improve on the 9-4 record he led the Aggies to in his first season in the SEC.
Then you can end your night with #14 Utah led by QB Tyler Huntley against BYU in what I literally just found out is called the Holy War Rivalry. This will be the 100th game of this rivalry, but i think they need to figure out a new fuckin name for it.
Some other Power 5 teams in action tonight are UCLA led by Chip Kelly. Chip is trying to rebuild his rep in the CFB world as UCLA was a goddamn dumpster fire last year. They kick off their season at Cincinnati, and I do not like their chances. Minnesota is also in action at home against South Dakota St. Minnesota ended last season strong winning 3 of 4 including a bowl win over ACC for Georgia Tech and thay are looking to start 2019 with a bang!
Keep an eye out for Grossman’s Gambling Guide for week 1 tomorrow if you wanna win some money!
