REAL, MEANINGFUL FOOTBALL IS OFFICIALLY BACK! After 6 long months of suffering, and the start and end of an entire football league, College Football is back! Kirk and the boys are back in action at Disney World today, and starting today, there are real football games on every weekend for the next 6 months!
There are 2 games on the slate today and I will have all the gambling insights you need for both of these games! After this week I will do 5 of the best games of the weeks and keep track of my record throughout the season.
Florida vs. Miami
I really feel like Florida is out for blood this year. After two consecutive National Championships in the late 2000s, they really have not been a part of the conversation. That all changes this year! After mopping the floor with Michigan in the Peach Bowl last year, Felipe Franks is ready to take this team to new levels! After having a real good year last year, he is ready to take the leap and have a great season this year! Here are Sportsline’s odds for this game.
It is the first week of college football and we may see a little bit of a sloppy game from both teams. Like I said earlier Felipe Franks, with the help of Dan Mullen are looking to get Florida back into the National Title conversation. On the other side Manny Diaz is stepping in as the Miami coach trying to get Miami to just win some fuckin football games again. I really like this Florida team this year led by Franks, and I really like them today too!
Arizona vs. Hawaii
I absolutely love the idea of having a west coast game on right after the big game! Gimme all the football you can! Especially when it is Hawaii who is going to put up an ass ton of points this season led by QB Cole McDonald. For the Wildcats, Khalil Tate is back with 2nd year coach Kevin Sumlin to try and make some noise in the Pac-12. Sportsline has these odds at:
Khalil Tate seems to enter the Heisman conversation every year very early in the season. That all falls apart once Arizona starts losing games and getting blown the fuck out. I do think this year may be a little different with Sumlin getting this team on the right track. We all know what Hawaii can do on offense as they score a shit ton every single fucking year. With the game being in Hawaii, I think Arizona will struggle but still pull out a somewhat close win.
Take these to the fucking bank and thank me later!
