Arkansas Razorback 2019 Qb battle!!!
Most Razorback fans wish they could forget the past half decade of football…but especially last season. The Razorbacks QBs couldn’t hit the side of a barn from 2 feet away. They Fucking blew so no wonder the hogs couldn’t score..or win…but luckily both starting QBs have transferred (Ty Storey-Western Kentucky and Cole Kelley-Southeastern Louisiana). To no ones surprise neither are starting at their new schools. Moving forward coach Chad Morris brought in former player at SMU…and SMU’s all time yards and TDS leader Graduate transfer (SR) Ben Hicks. He knows the offense well…during fall camp he has been an extra coach on the field..he throws a dead duck half the time on film..but experience is something the hogs need. Coach Morris also brought in Graduate transfer (JR) Nick Starkel from Texas A&M. Starkel threw for 1,793 yds and 14 tds in 2017 before he went down with injury. IMHO Starkel is the better Qb, once he fully grasps the playbook..Is it because he throws a tight butthole football? Or because his swag is off the charts with his Bieber undershirts..idk but I like his vibe. In theory the hogs should be more secure at the QB position by these transfers.. If I was a betting man I would say that Hicks will start game one at Portland State and by the end of the season Starkel will dethrone him as the starter.
